CREGG Recruitment is seeking a Business Development & Relationship Manager to join our client, a Medical Device multinational company based in the Midlands. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing the responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Proactively develop new and existing client relationships and strategic alliances through referrals. Effectively communicate and follow-up with prospective customers after initial introductions to initiate bidirectional relationships. Ensure the relationships are mutually beneficial, continuing to progress and are producing reciprocal referrals. In partnership with the Sales and Marketing Teams, foster lead nurture programs that will create greater momentum through the sales process. Assist the Sales Team with customer contact strategies to deepen the client relationship, increase sales opportunities and capitalise on active campaigns. Utilise knowledge of business and workflows to determine and position value-added solutions offering to promote business growth in the firm. Advocate product and service offerings, information or feedback gathered through client relations to appropriate internal resources. Facilitate programs to gather requirements and features from customers and their communities to augment sales, marketing, development, support, product management, and business partnerships. Monitor competition by gathering current information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, etc. Ensure a successful transition to the marketing/sales team to enable successful sale and eventual implementation, training and product adoption. Drive revenue growth of products and solutions by improving quality and increasing volume of customer referrals. Record all pertinent information in CRM ensuring the integrity of the database. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years professional experience in Business Development/Relationship Management role; B2B sales advantageous. Highly effective communication, presentation and research skills; comfortable speaking to company decision makers and executives. Demonstrated assertive and outgoing personality. Possess a polished and professional image. Passionate about building and maintaining strategic relationships. Knowledge of the overall business including a broad market understanding and strong grasp of prospects’ and customers’ business models and business needs. Fully competent in Customer Relationship Management systems. A Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline or equivalent experience in related field.
