Responsibilities: Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant. Meet and seat guests and ensure the Restaurant team provide excellent service to our guests and continuously strive to exceed expectations. Working with the team to ensure the effective management of the Restaurant, operating to appropriate standards whilst ensuring guest satisfaction and the necessary controls to provide the required profitability. To set budgets and controls appropriate to ensure maximum profitability in all areas of responsibility. To ensure full hygiene and cleanliness standards in the Restaurant at all times. To oversee staff training and development within the team. To manage rosters and payroll costs effectively. To ensure effective rostering practices to maximise efficiency in the Restaurant. To ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, dress, appearance and conduct is maintained at all times. To follow, implement and continuously update the SOP's for the Department. Requirements: 3 - 4 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably within a high volume, 100 cover restaurant. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills required. Strong customer focus essential. The ability to lead and manage a team effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and the highest standards of service.
