What you need to know. Matrix Recruitment are looking to recruit a recently qualified Financial Accountant for a well-established manufacturing company in Co. Offaly . This is a permanent job. The Financial Accountant will report into the Finance Manager and will assist in the preparation of monthly accounts. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities. Preparation of monthly accounts and management reporting packs. Support finance team with month end and year-end close process and tax returns. Preparation of various monthly reports for management. Ensure Balance Sheet Reconciliations are completed. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Ad hoc Financial Analysis. Ensure the timely and complete recording of non-sales/purchase order process transactions, including cash and bank. Maintain accounting records. Review processes on identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. What are we looking for? Desirable: Accounting Technician or Part / Newly Qualified Accountant. 1-3 years relevant experience. Comprehensive experience in technical accounting aspects of management accounting and financial reporting. Advanced excel skills. Strong financial control background.
