Senior JAVA Developers required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Offaly based client. Superb opportunity for Developers who wish to be part of an exciting and an expanding company. THE ROLE: * Work as a senior member of the R&D team, inclusive of coaching junior team members. * Develop applications, or application elements in Java 7 or 8 (SE or EE exposure acceptable. * Utilise some, or all of the following technologies during the development lifecycle: Java, Spring, ActiveMQ, MySQL, PostgreSQL (specifically PostGIS), Linux, PHP, jQuery, Symfony, Apache Web server. * Work in an Agile environment, utilising test-driven development practices. * Work alone, in a small team, in distributed teams and - at times - offshore. * Rapidly design and implement complex solutions. * Adopt a Continuous Improvement mindset. * Capability to change work approach to suit varying customer needs. REQUIREMENTS: * Degree in an IT related discipline such as Software Engineering, Computer Science or Software Development. * 3-5 years experience considered but 5 years plus would be preferred.
