This excellent growing medical device company wish to add to their manufacturing team. Therefore a role has arisen for a competent Manufacturing Engineer who brings the following skills: - Electrical / electronics engineering with electro-mechanical production & test development experience ideally in a manufacturing environment. You will : - Work as part of the existing engineering team to deliver projects & technical support to production operations in a medical device manufacturing environment. Update & re-issue associated documentation through the company change process. Work with the sustaining engineering group on improving designs through projects, & on product transfers from NPI/NPD to manufacturing. Provide technical expertise during the project release phases. Provide diagnostic, test, debug & support to the manufacturing team. Report into the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor. Responsibilities. Electro-mechanical medical device product & test improvements. Diagnosis of faults & customer complaint investigations. Introduction of new products to the manufacturing process. Generation & adherence to GMP, FDA & ISO 13485. Assessment & implementation of engineering change requests. Qualifications and experience. Degree Electrical/Electronic Engineering. 5 years' experience in electronic & electro-mechanical systems manufacturing support, test development & troubleshooting (ideally in the medical device industry. Experience in regulated industry including validation processes. A general knowledge of PCs (DOS, Windows, hardware installation. Electrical / electronic engineering - current technologies. Technical competency & analytical skills. Good planning & organizational skills. Good interpersonal & communications skills and able to manage others.
