A great opportunity in a growing company to support all areas within f reight department including: - liaising with air, road, parcel and sea carriers. You will work closely with the customer service logistics teams. Data entry, auditing invoices, maintaining databases, reporting & coordinating claim processing through settlement. Support Freight 's Lean initiatives & maintaining critical data for analysis. Organise handling of complaints, settling disputes, & supporting resolution of transportation service & cost grievances & conflicts. Be customer focused, detail orientated & takes pride in quality work. ESSENTIAL. Provide routing support to sites & internal departments. Liaise with Freight suppliers for booking, tracking & POD (air, road, parcel & sea. Maintain information flow to internal teams & other sites on Shipping Issues. Update & maintain weekly freight audit files. Provide maintenance of freight metrics & performance databases. Improve & adapt procedures, docs; processes where needed. Audit, review & processing of manual invoices. Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form. Processing claims, complaints, carrier reimbursements & credits. Coordinate Lean project reporting & updates. Obtaining, reviewing & providing online reports, invoices & data. Coordinating ship site non-compliance reports & follow up. Maintain regular contact with Logistics personnel in other offices. Encourage & build mutual trust, respect, & cooperation among team & cross functionally. QUALIFICATIONS & EXP. 2 - 4 years min transportation or logistics experience. Logistics &/or Shipping Qualification. Customer satisfaction focused. Familiarity with air; road, sea transportation rating software & online reporting tools preferred. Ability to compile, organise, analyse & present data & relate findings to business objectives. Good business head & interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills. Can multi-task within tight timelines; work in fast paced, matrix environment. Strong in MS Office Advanced level in MS Excel & strong in MS PowerPoint, One Note & Access. European Languages & Hazmat Experience an advantage. Experience with managing High-Value commodities an advantage. Dealing with Freight Forwarders & International Parcel carriers.
